Wow, nearly a month has passed by since my last blog post. So much for “regular updates”! I am all for accepting responsibility for one’s actions, but in this case, I blame it all on September.

My favorite month for fashion inspiration, September can be overwhelming even if you are not running a boutique! Stacks of extra weighty, glossy magazines inevitably invade every room in my house (ok, ok, and my car). There is fashion week to keep up with, not to mention the influx of fashion in television; Gossip Girl anyone?! Despite all that fun and frivolity, there was work to be done. Sadly, my PVR is full and many of my magazines have yet to be read!

A lot of time was spent in September getting fall stock onto Marble. A lengthy process, each item must be catalogued, photographed, described, and carefully measured before it is “published” on the live site. We have been working on improving Marble as well. With little adjustments here and there, we hope to make the site easier for you to navigate and more fun to browse.

With September also came a lot of travel for Mr. Marble and myself. Buying stock for Spring ‘09 took us to Vancouver a couple of times, and a business trip for Mr. Marble sent us packing to San Francisco. I think I will save those adventures until next time. So stay tuned!
